I hardly ever write reviews but this place takes all the stars for me. We were greeted warmly on New Years night and tucked into a quaint corner to the side. Perfect cozy spot for a rainy night. We chose the tasting menu and it went beyond our expectations (which are already pretty high). It just got better with each bite up until the very end, so dynamic and inventive. This is what I call smart cuisine artfully done. Paired with our tasting and the killer R & B playlist, our server was excellent. She was incredibly patient with my initial broken French but even more impressively she was patient with the two guests that sat next to us. Though they were nice enough I suppose, they were also loud, imposing and intrusive. Obvious Americans hailing from Texas and LA. We were mortified sitting next to them. Though we tried our best to filter them out, every action seemed to get progressively worse. As two people who used to be servers and staff at high end restaurants, we thought she managed this gracefully and kindly. Thankfully it was only a minor distraction in comparison to our experience there. We highly recommend it to anyone! Though we also selfishly hope it doesn’t get so popular that we can’t get a reservation next time we come to Paris :)

My friend and I had “the menu” option with a few different courses. They were able to accommodate my gluten-free friend and recommended some very good wine to pair with our meal. I would have expected a Michelin star with how beautiful and innovative the food was. But perhaps the restaurant is still very young. It was a quiet and small location but still had plenty of seating and a side room for a larger party. I would come back here again and again. My photo skills do not do this justice.

A very small artisan establishment, perhaps the size of a living room. As soon as you enter, you are greeted with incredible food aroma and friendly smiles.
There are roughly 20 seats indoor. Menu is small but expertly crafted. We ordered asparagus panna cotta, pulled pork tacos, chicken entre, cod with gnocchi, and desserts. Each dish was incredibly fresh, nuaunced, complex, beautiful, and delicious. Read the menu for detailed ingredients.
I was recovering from norovirus and was unable to drink wine, but they are known for their organic artisanal wine selection.
Very reasonably price, inexpensive even compared to US restaurants. A gem in a city full of incredible restaurants.

What a gem! Stopped for a glass of wine and was really surprised by this small and cute place with perfectly delicious food! I had asparagus for starter and cod for the main dish and everything was just amazing! Much much better than some of Michelin star restraunts! Highly recommended!

Surprising that we could get a reservation on a Saturday night here with only a couple of days notice - it must be some kind of unknown gem.

If you are looking for exciting, experimental, beautiful dishes crafted with a deft hand that understands all the fundamentals of good cooking, then go here. I love the standard fare one eats as a tourist in Paris, but wanted something unpredictable. Nellu's tasting menu is the antidote. It is also excellent value.

Every dish was enjoyable, but some elements stood out for being exceptionally tasty, particularly the finishing sauces, and that sublime raw langoustine, fresh and meaty, and popping with the flavor of the fresh ginger.

Wine matches were also surprising and delicious. We drank:
- Vignale di Cecilia, Benavides, 2021
- Le Oche Elevato 12 Mesi Sui Propri Lieviti

Also, the service was fantastic, and fun. Hopefully you get served by the Italian sommelier who shares with you his stories of dealing with a crazy mf-er winemaker.

Thanks to everyone at Nellu for the best dining experience I've ever had in Paris.
