I was looking forward to this one as recommended by friends. The place is nice. The service was okay but felt rushed between courses. Both mains were prepared too early so most of the food was cold. It tasted lovely but not close to the price range.

Perfect service, extremely good food, wrong lightings in this restored former church. Wine selection and mixology are perfect

Unfortunately we did not encounter any of the reasons for the mostly great ratings: The service was terrible, first they could not find our reservation, then it took very long before we could order, while other people that came later already were served their orders. The food took also very long and was nothing special, but expensive. The cheese platter was very small and looked like it was thrown together by the apprentice on his first day. The ambiance is OK, however not worth the money. Had much better experiences which cost less than half. Cannot recommend.

Great experience. The place is stunning, the service very welcoming and the food was perfect, especially the dessert which for once was worth it’s price. Talking about price, it’s definitely pricy, but there are a lot of different options. Lunch meal seems to be a good value also, but I didn’t tried it because main courses didn’t inspire me.

This is one of the best restaurants in Poitiers but it does get very full and is very noisy at lunchtimes as it is so popular.  Booking is absolutely essential and it is best to book an early time as they do seem sometimes to run out of some of the dishes which can be really disappointing.  The food is very good but this is not the place to go if you want a relaxed dining experience!
