We didn't have a reservation but it wasn't a problem. We came earlier and booked for a bit later without any problem. We initially booked on a terrace but it was a bit cold so they proposed to change for a place inside. The place is quite small but very nicely decorated and arranged.
The service was impeccable. From the menu you can learn about the restaurant and it's history.
We ordered the original tasting menu and closed the bottle of wine. The menu has 5 positions. This time a starter, green peas soup with wasabi that was delicious, fish, duck with carrots again amazing, goat cheese and dessert cake with strawberry. Everything was accompanied by a delicious bread, choice between normal and olive - super tasty.
We had a super nice time and will definitely come back to see how they grow.

An exceptional meal. Our French is horrible and the wait staff didn't speak English, but we muddled our way through it and are glad we did. This was the best meal we had in our short trip to Nimes.

We both had the cheaper 5 course meal. At the time, it was 55 Euros. It was well worth it. Each course was a delight, with bright flavours. Some of the courses were delicate, but the main was a bold lamb dish.

You end up satisfied, but not bursting with heavy food. It was enough for us, but some may complain about the portions. I wouldn't recommend it if you want a huge meal. Check it out when you are hungry, but don't need to overdo it.
