I was very skeptical about booking a 3- or 4-star hotel in Nice after reading numerous reviews about old buildings, tiny rooms, or even bed bugs. However, I decided to book a room at this Ibis, which was listed as being close to the train station and just 10–12 minutes from the old town and the sea.

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by polite and friendly staff. To our delight, we were given a top-floor room with a spacious terrace, which was a pleasant surprise! The hotel also provided filtered water in the lobby and even free popcorn in the evenings—a thoughtful touch.

The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with modern furniture and good lighting. The building and rooms seemed newly renovated, which added to our comfort. The toilet was clean, and while the bathroom area was slightly small, it was still manageable.

Breakfast, though the same every day, was enjoyable. Highlights included the fresh orange juice machine, a variety of breads, jams, spreads, oats, milk, fruits, and even chocolate.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the comfort, amenities, and hospitality at this Ibis. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located hotel in Nice!

We loved staying at this hotel since our rooms were spacious + comfortable and we could walk pretty much everywhere in the city in 15-20 minutes. Being able to get drinkable water downstairs was great for us during warm days. The AC worked perfectly well. The breakfast was okay for its price as well but we felt like there could be more options to choose from. Coffees and teas were perfect though and those were enough with a croissant :) Lastly we would like to thank Thomas and every other staff at the reception and the cleaning staff for being so kind and helpful to us. We would definitely love to come back and stay at this hotel in the future!

This hotel is a very nice ibis hotel. We travel for longer lengths of time so a do it yourself laundry location is important to us. Laundry at this hotel is right across the street. Very convenient. Location is great for getting around. We felt it was a short walk from train station and main area of the city. Take advantage of the popcorn and ice tea served in the lobby. It’s a nice break. Our room was bigger and had more storage than I expected. There was an effort made to make your stay at this hotel enjoyable. I did find the bed a bit warm but definitely for a tourist hotel it’s a five star hotel.

My wife and I recently stayed at rhis hotel for 3 nights.   Exceeded our expectations.   We had a corner room with terrace.   Very nicely appointed and clean.   Hotel staff were super accommodating.    Breakfast was lovely.   Hotel is strategically located in Nice.   Within walking distance of promenade, restaurants and retail stores.

The room is small with somewhat dated finish. It's ok for staying at night while you go on day trips out of town. The breakfast has good selection. The location has easy access to train station, grocery store and the beach/sightseeing area.
There is no camera in the elevator.
