This is the cutest friendliest little place ever. Fortunately for me, one of the guys was fluent in English. My diabetes had gotten out of control because of all of the hiking and climbing in the Calanques.

I went in late afternoon and asked about food, which everyone knows you're not going to get late afternoon in France. When I explained about the diabetes and begged that I didn't care what kind of food it was, he gave me a bread roll. That was absolutely perfect.

I decided that I would have a cup of coffee and my card was refused three times! The bartender didn't even blink. Finally I got it working, thankfully.

It's a friendly small village and while I enjoyed my coffee at the little table out front, I watched the staff and  neighbors playing with the dogs and hanging out laughing.

Next time I will plan to get there for lunch. I highly recommend them, just because they're nice people.

We came at 5 with our 3x kids, around 19:30, no reservation, we had a warm welcome from everyone getting into the restaurant. The kids menu at 14Euros (meal, dessert, sirup) was perfect, the menu is slim but the sea specialities are tasty and the servings really delicate (we had fresh fried calamaris, Panisse with squid Ink mayo, and cauliflower in yogurt, plus the great sweet“ratatouille” made of Eggplant with crunchy nuts and basil - ok it has a special name…but i forgot…)

Service was gentle, attentive, informal but classy.

We headed to Les Goudes just outside Marseille to  walk around the area. We stopped here first for some lunch and are very happy we did. The service was extremely friendly, as we muddled our limited French. We ended up having Sea Bream and Mullet as our main courses and were so enticed that we didn’t get “before” pictures. Trust that the presentation was wonderful and the taste was even better. All the fish was clearly very fresh and well prepared.

I’ve seen this local sorbet served in a few restaurants. I definitely recommend it and enjoyed the fresh cream that came with ours. It really did taste like a Creamsicle (only much better).

One of the best seafood restaurants around. Very tasty food and fresh quality fish, good quantities too. Staff are very friendly, helpful and always smiling! I personally had a very beautiful experience, would definitely come back!
