We had a wonderful evening tonight at Bessem. The setting, the staff and the food were all excellent. I would say understated elegance. It was relaxing and refreshing and overall a lovely way to spend a few hours on our anniversary. Value for money in the fine dining arena. N’hésitez pas!

Came with family for a few quiet birthday celebration. Staff was extremely kind and professional, knew how to maneuver my indecisive menu pick with ease (you pick viande or poisson, the rest follows). Exquisite menu of 6 excluding the amuse bouche, was surprised by the main being chicken but not disappointed by its well rounded flavors. Extra points for them overhearing our belated birthday celebration and them surprising us with a little spectacle of candles and photos.

Impeccable. Far exceeds what I've come to expect at 1 Michelin-star restaurants, and better than many of the 2-star places outside France. It's not just good food, but truly creative cooking. Service was warm, consistent, and shows great attention to details. I think they are clearly aiming high, and I hope their efforts can be rewarded soon. Would love to come back if in Cannes again.

An oasis with outstanding food and service outside of the crazy inner city of Cannes. This place is in the Michelin guide but doesnt have a star yet. It should. I have been to several michelin starred restaurants that were very nice but don't even come close to the quality and invention in food, the perfection of service and the peaceful setting of Bessem. The garden setting is unbelievably calming, the tasting menu has multiple courses that are truly outstanding, the wine pairings were inventive and perfect with the food. The sommelier and waiting staff were attentive, warm and enthusiastic. I cannot recommend this place more highly. Far better than anything in central Cannes.
