Our stay (2 adults and 3 kids) was fantastic, thanks to the amazing front-of-hotel staff.  Michael, in particular, was outstanding—efficient, friendly, and always ready to help.  He made our stay memorable by handling our car and luggage with utmost care.  If I owned a hotel, I would hire people like Michael immediately and ensure they are well-compensated for their exceptional service.  Their dedication and warmth truly set this hotel apart.  Highly recommend staying here!  Best regards from Poland!

With 5 stars, 3 Michelin Keys and 3 Michelin Stars this just had to be great, yes? Well it was very good hence my rating. But... Yes there is a but but we will come to the buts.

The staff in general are excellent. All were pleasant, well turned out and always had a smile. The chaps doing the valet parking did their utmost to shelter us from the rain. Our receptionist gave us a guided tour of the facility, as it was out first time, as she showed us to our room.

The main pool was still rather cold at 24°C (end of June) but some brave souls managed to swim. The indoor pool was 30°C. There was another pool in the spa which we didn't try.

We walked around the golf course but I was content I hadn't brought my clubs. 6 holes, all but one being par 3s and the sixth
a driveable par 4 for big hitters.

So to the buts, which I will do in ascending order. Some are in the safety section.

Firstly there are the internal swinging doors which are partly glazed. They looked cheap and didn't fit the generally high level of classic decor. Potentially, they also risked one opening a door on a small child, and there were many about. Sliding glass doors would have been better.

At the bistro we were surprised and a little disappointed that they had no cassis for our favourite apero. They had run out. Being so close to Cassis (the port) this seemed a bit comical.

Then there are the noisy neighbours. The hotel is across the road from Circuit Paul Ricard and Aéroport du Castellet. Thus the peace and tranquillity was occasionally punctuated by the noise of screaming motor engines, plane etc. But if you like that thing, a free aerobatics display was available.

The gardens were generally lovely but there were many of the flowering plants that were in urgent need of dead-heading.

Then there was the episode with our shower. The walk-in shower had both an overhead rainfall and a handheld shower heads. There was a tap to switch from one to the other. It had seized. As we went to dinner on the first evening we asked one of the managers to see to it. We had to ask at reception the following morning as nothing had happened. That evening we asked one of the room staff to deal with it, and finally we got some action. Having to ask three times is not good!

One of our first negative experiences was the entry to the hotel. It has a closed gate. This surprised us so much we went looking for the "proper" entry after assuming we had found the wrong gate. But no, you have to pull up at the intercom and asked to be admitted. This comes across as a bit intimidating and uninviting. Worse, if you are alone and driving a right-hand drive car, you'd have to get out and run around. For a hotel of this calibre to not have a gate-man to receive you is all wrong.

Then there was the sediment in our bottle of white wine in the main restaurant. Not what one might have expected, but sediment there was (see photo.) Not good and it really should have been decanted.

So yes a very good place and we very much enjoyed our stay. But there are things that can be improved upon.

The grounds are stunning and staff did everything to make sure my family had a great time. The rooms annd spa are lovely too.

The hotel is very nice and different from any hotels in the area, have many services, there are an airport near the hotel ( private airport), you could do many activities in this hotel and outside it. The reception team have full information about all the areas around to visit and they can guide you and book or do reservations in advance.
The hotel stuff friendly and cute and their priority is the client. I highly recommend it.

We stayed at the hotel again this week, 2 weeks after the original review below and the service was EXCELLENT. The restaurant, room service and laundry service were exceptional and fast. The hotel seemed to fix most of the original issues and really did an amazing job taking care of us. Completely different experience this time. 4.5 star on service and food. I changed the rating to 4 star now. Thank you for taking the feedback and making it so pleasant. We’ll be back again soon!

Beautiful hotel. Grounds are 4.5 star, service is 1 star. Unfortunately the worst service, specifically room service, I’ve experienced in a long time. Require you to use a LoungeUp app to see a French only menu. App stops working so you can’t log in. They require you to call Réception to be connected to room service every time. Reception often does not pick up. Ordered breakfast at 9am, they say it will take 20 min, then call back 1 hour later to say they are confused about the order and I need to reorder. This is only day 2 and I’m not sure it could get worse... Disappointing because the hotel is beautiful and everyone seems very nice.
