It is as good as they say it was! The wine was delicious and the bean dish was delicious. The pickled vegetables were by far the best I’ve had.  Everything on the menu looks delicious.

Heads up, the space looks kind of small - just a few tables. I can see how it could get full fast.

By far, the best Georgian food we had in this city. Highly recommend the chicken with milk and garlic. The catfish with vinegar was pretty strong in vinegar taste. Tomato salad was fantastic. Berry lemonade was excellent, but a little sweet (hopefully no additional sugar). Service was great but a little slow - they seemed to be low on manpower.

Instructions - this is actually IN the theatre so yeah, just go inside a separate door, and go inside another big door. The ambience in this place is awesome, it is like a museum by itself. We had the chicken in garlic sauce, mushrooms, and I forgot the cheese with ??? but all were awesome. Can go here after checking the museum or opera house if you are touristing around. At 7pm dinner there were tables for the 2 of us.

I’ve been visiting this restaurant since 2019 (back when it was at a different location), and I come here about 2-3 times a year. Unfortunately, the service keeps getting worse each time. The staff act as if they don’t understand Russian, even though we’ve repeatedly offered to communicate in Ukrainian, but there’s always silence in response.

The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is charming, but why is the service so awful, completely ruining the overall experience? 💔
Menus take forever to arrive, they never wish you a pleasant meal, nor do they ask if we enjoyed the dishes. It constantly feels like we’re not welcome here ☠️

A few steps to get down there though, it's a  restaurant with an art exhibition, with lots of paintings and come collections.

Delicious food, delicious wine. Great staff able to recommend from the menu as we were new to the country. Megrelian khachapuri, lobio, eggplants with walnuts were beyond praise. Overall was a good experience and we visited twice during our stay in the city.

Possibly the best quality Georgian food we ate while in the country.
