Excellent Service and Location:  I praised the hotel's prime location, comfortable bed, and great shower .I appreciated the exceptional service from the staff, particularly the concierge and breakfast servers ¹.
Great View and Comfortable Room, We enjoyed our stay in a room with a view of the Deutscher Dom.  The room is clean and comfortable, with a nice view.
Expensive but Worth It, the hotel is expensive, the location is perfect, and the view from the room overlooking Gendarmenmarkt is "almost worth it to the price.

The hotel is old. Very old. The room I checked into was like a big ashrtay. Although it is a non smoking hotel, it's clear that the previous residents of the room smoked heavily and didn't bother to open the windows. I am surprised the hotel staff were unaware of it.

Took a couple of hours for them to give us 2 rooms close to one another, one for myself and my wife and the other for my daughter.

They offered us several options, but there seemed to be always something. The room we finally accepted as an alternative had a very bad smell in the bathroom. It smelled of sewage. The minibar was locked and would not open. They sent someone up to fix it with no results. Finally a technician came up to the room and opted to stick electrical tape where the infrared sensor is, keeping the minibar from properly closing. Half baked solution. But it worked.

Johanna from the front desk was super apologetic and very sweet. She sent us 2 bottles of wine and a fruit basket, and a card where she wrote a very sweet, personal message.

Manuel, the concierge spent so much time showing us rooms, trying to please us and make us happy. Upon checking out he helped my wife find her phone that she'd misplaced. He waited outside my daughters room until she was ready to give him her suitcases. Lovely gentleman. Put a smile on my face. Thank you Manuel.

Hotel needs renovation. Simple.

Breakfast is amazing. Quality, variety. When the hotel is renovated we will surely be back.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hilton Berlin, and I cannot speak highly enough about my experience. From the moment I arrived, the level of service and hospitality exceeded all expectations.

A special thank you to the front desk team, especially Samantha and Fabian, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was seamless and enjoyable. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail truly made a difference. They were always ready to assist with any request, providing recommendations, and making me feel valued as a guest.

The hotel itself is stunning, offering a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and convenience. The rooms were immaculate, well-appointed, and provided breathtaking views of the city. The amenities were top-notch, and the dining options were exceptional.

I highly recommend Hilton Berlin to anyone looking for a world-class stay in the heart of the city. Thank you once again to the entire team for an unforgettable experience – I will definitely be returning!

We had a fantastic stay at Hilton Berlin. There was a minor hiccup during the previously arranged extra, extra early check-in (before 10am) and the staff more than compensated us for the slight delay. Hakan was kind and courteous and took very good care of us, he sent us for a complimentary breakfast while we waited for our room and brought our keys to us just as we were finishing our meal.
We had no difficulties finding or parking the the garage, it's entry is clearly marked on Google maps. Location in Berlin is superb. Rooms are well kept, clean, fairly spacious and decor is traditional Hilton. Beds were comfortable and variety of pillows was good. Breakfast was very good and had decent vegetarian, vegan, and dedicated gluten free (individually wrapped) choices.

We had a great breakfast at this hotel yesterday, so we were looking forward to it again today. However, as soon as we stepped off the elevator, security rudely blocked our way, demanding, “Where is your badge?” without any explanation. We weren’t even allowed to walk through the lobby normally. As paying guests, we shouldn’t have been treated this way, especially in the morning. It was so frustrating and absolutely ruined our morning. The actual hotel staff, not the security guard, should be directing us to the breakfast.

To make things worse, the breakfast itself was significantly downgraded from the previous day. There were fewer options—no omelets, fewer fruits and pastries, no coffee machines, and even the alcohol they had yesterday was gone. Despite this, we were still charged the same. If the hotel is going to cut back on offerings due to an event, guests should be informed or compensated. Overall, this was a frustrating experience, both in service and value.
