I recently had the pleasure of dining at PeterPaul in Berlin with my partner, and it was a truly delightful experience. The restaurant offers a unique twist on traditional German cuisine by serving classic dishes in small, tapas-style portions, perfect for sharing and sampling a variety of flavors.  ￼

Each dish we tried was flavorful and beautifully presented, showcasing the rich culinary heritage of Germany with a modern touch. The wine selection complemented our meal wonderfully, enhancing the overall dining experience.

The ambiance of PeterPaul is both modern and stylish, with dark walls and cream-toned seating creating a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere.  Our waitress was exceptionally kind and welcoming, making us feel valued and ensuring we had an unforgettable evening. ￼

We’ve had the best time ever at PeterPaul, definitely one to book for reservations. One of the best espresso martinis I’ve had. It’s all tapas styled but the portions will keep you full. Service was tip-top and we were well taken care of. Would highly recommend the mountain cheese dumplings, the pea soup, the sausages filled with feta! The black cherry cake dessert was one to remember too. Extensive selection of German wines too, very well done decor and art - great ambience, one to definitely come if in Berlin!

Wow what an experience! A friend brought us here to experience finer German food and this did not disappoint! The wait brought out tapa style plates of various dishes from across Germany. Everything we ate was phenomenal. Highly recommend to visit this family owned and operated restaurant

Upon stepping into PeterPaul, we were met with a balance of elegance and ease, where the setting managed to simultaneously whisper sophistication and beckon with a sense of warmth. The refined decor didn’t come across as overbearing, providing a charming setting for an evening’s meal. Yet, the culinary experience failed to rise to the same occasion. More puzzlingly, our server omitted mentioning that the establishment champions a tapas approach to German cuisine. Instead of embracing a symphony of varied plates, as intended, we mistakenly mirrored each other’s selections, thus sidestepping the very essence of dining here.

I am so glad I made a reservation here. It is a culinary experience, which is great. After ten days in Germany, this was one of our last places to eat. I'm glad.

I'm going to say something that might be controversial, and I don't mean anything negative by it. I've traveled to many countries and have always found some particular regional food to be amazing. I struggled in Germany. The German food seemed to be bland and lack sauces and, well, spices. I kept trying in various cities and various restaurants. It's not bad, just kind of boring?

So, I'm glad I went to Peter Paul at the end because they elevate traditional German food and allow one to taste, in small size, various dishes. It was great. The service was amazing, and I would highly recommend everyone to go here if you might feel a little like I did with native food.
