All the exhibits are on the second floor, but unfortunately, the elevator was out of service. The woman at the reception apologized and said it had been broken for a couple of days. She pointed to the stairs, but that was not a possibility for our 84-year companion. Sad to see that such an important museum does not prioritize access for the elderly.

We watched there very educative videos about a history of the wall, not only in Berlin but about the one that divided East and West Germany. Also the remains of the wall opposite the centre were very impressive.

An amazing site much more than I expected. There was more of the wall left than I thought there would be.

Absolutely loved this museum! Very interesting. We watched the documentary that shows every 30minutes and it gave a great boarder line knowledge for us! 📽️
