I had a great time. The food was amazing and the service was really, really good.

The menu had some really interesting food and I appreciated the alcohol-free aperitif options.

The decor is really nice and the view is beautiful. Really happy with the way they rebuilt the building after the fire.

Das Restaurant befindet sich im nach dem Brand neu aufgebauten Gebäude gegenüber des Hotels. Die Küche ist hervorragend mit handwerklich sehr gut gemachten frischen Gerichten mit qualitativ sehr guten Zutaten. Der Service ist aufmerksam, sehr freundlich und kompetent. Sehr gute Weinauswahl und Empfehlungen für die Begleitung zum Essen. Die Aussicht durch große Panoramafenster auf den Schwarzwald ist ebenfalls sehr schön. Das Restaurant kann als Hotelgast der Traube Tonbach auch als Alternative zum normalen Hotelrestaurant genutzt werden, was ich empfehlen würde, da hier das Ambiente und die Servicequalität deutlich besser sind , bei ähnlichem Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis.

The restaurant is located in the building opposite the hotel that was rebuilt after the fire. The cuisine is excellent with very well-crafted, fresh dishes using very good quality ingredients. The service is attentive, very friendly and competent. Very good wine selection and recommendations to accompany the meal. The view of the Black Forest through large panoramic windows is also very beautiful. As a Traube Tonbach hotel guest, the restaurant can also be used as an alternative to the normal hotel restaurant, which I would recommend, as the ambience and service quality are significantly better here, with a similar price/performance ratio.

bin heute nach einer Wanderung zum Tonbachursprung erstmals ins neue Schatzhauser eingekehrt. Das Ambiente war sehr modern und elegant aber durch graue Farbtöne (Köhlerfarbe) ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig und für mich nicht so ganz heimelig. Der Service war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und vor allem geschult - auch in der gehobenen Gastronomie nicht immer selbstverständlich.
Mein Essen war optisch und geschmacklich hervorragend - daher auch insgesamt fünf Sterne.
Und - obwohl die Größe der Portion für mich völlig ausreichend war - wurde mir ein Nachschlag angeboten. Kenne ich so nicht - sagenhaft !

I came to the new Schatzhauser for the first time today after a hike to the source of the Tonbach. The ambience was very modern and elegant, but the gray colors (Köhler color) took a little getting used to and didn't feel very homely for me. The service was very friendly, attentive and, above all, trained - not always a given even in upscale restaurants.
My food was visually and tastefully excellent - hence five stars overall.
And - although the portion size was completely sufficient for me - I was offered a second helping. I don't know that - amazing!

Geschmacklich auf einem hohen Niveau, hier merkt man das es aus der gleichen Küche wie das 1789 (1 Stern) unter der Leitung von Florian Stolte kommt
