Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker vor allem der Hauptgang und Zwischengang haben hervorragend geschmeckt. Nur der Start und die erste Vorspeise konnte nicht ganz mithalten.Der Service war auch sehr lieb und zuvorkommend. Es war einfach ein perfekter Abend. Ich komme gerne wieder 👍🏻

Nach der Neueröffnung in Deggendorf wollten wir uns die Chance natürlich nicht entgehen lassen, das Kook auch in der neuen Location zu besuchen.

Der erste Eindruck des neuen Designs war sehr schön und einladend. Auch die zum Teil offene Küche und der Vorraum, in dem man Anfangs zu einem Aperitif empfangen wird, sprach für sich. Leider mussten wir nach kurzen feststellen, dass die Stühle extrem unbequem sind und bei uns nur bei der kleinsten Person (1,60 cm) passte. Alle anderen bekamen schon nach kürzester Zeit Rückenschmerzen, was den ganzen Besuch natürlich nicht ganz angenehm machte.

Das Essen war lecker, jedoch empfanden wir die Portionen schon eher als klein. Außerdem ist uns aufgefallen, dass bei den Gängen viele Geltupfen verwendet werden, was geschmacklich natürlich kein Nachteil ist, unserer Meinung nach das Ganze ein wenig vereinfacht und das Mundgefühl auf Dauer schwächt, da uns persönlich teils einfach der Biss dieser einzelnen Komponenten fehlte.

After the new opening in Deggendorf, we obviously didn't want to miss the chance to visit the Kook in the new location.

The first impression of the new design was very beautiful and inviting. The partly open kitchen and the anteroom, where you are initially welcomed for an aperitif, also spoke for themselves. Unfortunately, after a short while we realized that the chairs were extremely uncomfortable and only fit the smallest person (1.60 cm). Everyone else developed back pain after a very short time, which of course didn't make the whole visit entirely pleasant.

The food was delicious, but we found the portions to be rather small. We also noticed that a lot of gel spots are used in the courses, which is of course not a disadvantage in terms of taste, but in our opinion it simplifies the whole thing a little and weakens the mouthfeel in the long term, as we personally simply missed the bite of these individual components.
