The 5 course dinner menu as well as the accompanying wines took us on a beautiful journey to discover new flavors. Very friendly service, taking their time to explain the dishes and wines in detail. You will get more than what is written on the menu, so stay open for surprises.

Kitchen’s penchant for salt undermined most of the offerings.  A mortal sin at any level.

Taku is more than a restaurant, it is an impeccable, flawless, elegant experience. The ingredients, presentation, and flavor of each dish dazzled our palates (I went with my husband). The photos attached show the dishes we actually ordered, plus little bites of marvelous things that were brought to us.  The wait staff were lovely, helpful, and welcoming. I can't wait to return!

Some of the food was ok but I don’t see how it has a star; have eaten at “Michelin Guide” restaurants with much better quality. Menu was all over the place and was served a random loaf of bread and butter that did not fit with the meal. Silverware was also mismatched at times which one would not expect from a restaurant with a star. See pictures/captions for further info.

It was just an excellent experience! All of the courses were perfect but especially the “Bergamot”. Great job!
