This gourmet restaurant has 1 Michelin Star and is tiny (around 20 seats) so a table reservation is pretty neccesary.

Since a few weeks ago Bembergs Häuschen opens for Sunday Lunch, apart of their reg. opening hours from Wed to Sat (18:00-23:00).

I went there with my betterhalf, celebrating my little big-day and we were both very pleased with our 8 courses menu with Apperitif and Wine pairing to the main course.

Every course was well thought and beautifully presented. Eventhough we both thought that the sauce for the 'Sauerbraten' (roasted beef ala Rhine-Westphalian) a bit too sweet but again, were very pleased with everything. Do not skip the 'Cigar-Course', one of the most authentic n unique and very yummy course in Michelin Starred Places sofar.

The service is as usual: outstanding n the (around) 350 € dinner for two was well paid off!

Sehr gemütliches Restaurant mit Ambiente. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam aber ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Das Menü war sehr abwechslungsreich und bot lecker kombinierte Zutaten. Selber würde man sich einige Varianten gar nicht vorstellen zu kombinieren aber das zeigt die Kreativität die dort an den Tag gelegt wird. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis passt!

Very cozy restaurant with ambience. The service was very friendly and attentive but without being intrusive. The menu was very varied and offered deliciously combined ingredients. You wouldn't even imagine combining some of the variants yourself, but that shows the creativity that is on display there. The price/performance ratio is right!
