This was one of the most memorable lunches I’ve ever had. We got a picnic basket full of delicious food, some teas and then cuddled up outside under beautiful cozy blankets. It was raining but that wasn’t a problem at all. Amazing super local food, gorgeous location surrounded by nature, riesling vines and farm animals.

Hofgut‘s approach to sustainability deserves a special mention as the picnic is packed incredibly responsibly with the intent for you to take most of the things home for future use.

A must-stop for picnic lunch, I can’t even imagine how good their dinner is. We’ll be back.

This was an excellent experience.  The cuisine was both interesting and delicious.  We enjoyed a fine service experience and the wine was superb.
