The food is perfect. The menu harmonizes wonderfully with the provided wines. The service was excellent, just unexpected was that the wines were directly served without previous try sip, but after a short request that was changed for the red wines. Just the chef is quite arrogant. Did not even show up once at our table.

Wir hatten das Gourmet Menü mit 8 Gängen. Holger Bodendorf war selbst in Winterpause.
Das Essen war von sehr guter Qualität doch deutlich unter dem Niveau welches wir in vergleichbaren Restaurants erlebt haben.
Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und dennoch etwas zu engagiert.
Unsere Gespräche wurden unterbrochen und wir mussten sehr massiv gegen die viel zu schnelle Menüfolge protestieren um Gehör zu finden.
Ich fühlte mich bedrängt.
Die Weinbegleitung war toll, Präsentation und Hintergrundinfo ist ausbaufähig.
Insgesamt ein toller Abend den wir sehr genossen haben.
Wir kommen innerhalb der Hauptsaison gerne wieder.

The food was of very good quality but well below the level we have experienced in comparable restaurants.
The service was very courteous and yet a little too dedicated.
Our conversations were interrupted and we had to protest very strongly against the far too fast menu sequence in order to be heard.
I felt harassed.
The wine pairing was great, the presentation and background information could be improved.
Overall, a great evening that we enjoyed very much.
We would be happy to come back during the high season.

Der jährliche Besuch im Restaurant von Holger Bodendorf ist und bleibt ein Erlebnis.

Jeder Gang war ein Kunstwerk für sich, meisterhaft zubereitet und präsentiert. Die Aromen waren perfekt ausbalanciert und die Zutaten von höchster Qualität. Besonders beeindruckend war die persönliche Note, dass einige Gerichte vom Chef selbst an den Tisch gebracht wurden. Dies verlieh dem Abend eine besondere Exklusivität und zeigte die Leidenschaft und Hingabe von Holger Bodendorf und seinem Team.

Die Bedienung war aufmerksam und professionell, stets zur Stelle, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant war entspannt und einladend, was den Genuss der exquisiten Speisen noch verstärkte. Nach einer Bitte um einen Teelöffel - zum Genießen der köstlichen Saucen, wurde dieser ungefragt bei jedem Gang dazugelegt. Klasse.

Wünschenswert wäre eine ausgedruckte Form des Menüs, zum Nachlesen…

Insgesamt war es eine kulinarische Erfahrung der Extraklasse, welche ich jedem Feinschmecker uneingeschränkt empfehlen möchte. 🌟

The annual visit to Holger Bodendorf's restaurant is and remains an experience.

Each course was a work of art in itself, masterfully prepared and presented. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the ingredients were of the highest quality. What was particularly impressive was the personal touch that some dishes were brought to the table by the chef himself. This gave the evening a special exclusivity and showed the passion and dedication of Holger Bodendorf and his team.

The service was attentive and professional, always on hand without being intrusive. The atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed and welcoming, which further enhanced the enjoyment of the exquisite food. After a request for a teaspoon - to enjoy the delicious sauces - it was added to each course without being asked. Class.

It would be desirable to have a printed version of the menu so that you can read it...

Overall, it was a culinary experience in a class of its own, which I would fully recommend to every gourmet. 🌟

Im Restaurant bekommt man eine sehr gute Küche und schöne Weine dazu. Der Service könnte noch ein bisschen Kundenorientierter sein. Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe dort, dafür gibt es einen separaten Raum der sehr gemütlich ist. Uns war die Abfolge der Gänge zu schnell, ein bisschen mehr Zeit zwischen den Gängen wäre gut gewesen.
Direkt am Restaurant gibt es eine Bar, die recht gut sortiert ist.

In the restaurant you get very good cuisine and nice wines. The service could be a little more customer-oriented. We were there with a larger group, but there is a separate room that is very comfortable. The sequence of courses was too quick for us, a little more time between courses would have been good.
There is a bar right next to the restaurant that is quite well stocked.

Feine Küche und zuvorkommender Service. Wir haben sehr gut gegessen. Das Einzige was vielleicht etwas gestört hat ist die etwas zu dunkle Ausleuchtung am Tisch was aber sicher Geschmacksache ist. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Fine cuisine and courteous service. We ate very well. The only thing that may have been a bit annoying is that the lighting at the table was a bit too dark, but that's certainly a matter of taste. Highly recommended!
