Wir hatten das Vergnügen, im Restaurant Oma Wilma zu speisen, und obwohl wir keine Reservierung hatten, wurde uns ein Tisch angeboten. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend, was unseren Besuch sehr angenehm machte.

Das Essen war durchweg gut, und besonders positiv fiel mir die Berücksichtigung unserer speziellen Wünsche auf. Für laktosefreie Gerichte wurde eine getrennte Anrichtung angeboten, was sehr hilfreich war.

Insgesamt ein gelungener Abend, den ich jedem empfehlen kann, der auf Sylt nach einem freundlichen Restaurant mit gutem Essen sucht!

We had the pleasure of dining at Oma Wilma Restaurant and even though we didn't have a reservation, we were offered a table. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, which made our visit very pleasant.

The food was consistently good, and I was particularly impressed by the fact that our special requests were taken into account. Separate serving was offered for lactose-free dishes, which was very helpful.

Overall, a successful evening that I can recommend to anyone who is looking for a friendly restaurant with good food on Sylt!

Herrliches Silvester-Abendessen bei Nicolas Rathge im Restaurant Oma Wilma • Heimatküche Keitum.

Als kleinen Gruß aus der Küche gab es eine sehr feine aromatische Paprikacrème im Hörnchen.

Zur Vorspeise Gebackener Matjes mit Apfel, Zwiebel und Kapern.
Typisch Nicolas! Er hat immer so geile Ideen, wo man beim Lesen der Karte erst mal stutzt und dann überrascht es einen auf so leckere Weise - einfach der Hammer!

Als Hauptgang gabs ein tolles Duett vom Rind

Filet perfekt medium-rare & Geschmortes Bäckchen

Nicolas hat es in der Karte mit "Lieblingsfutter" untertitelt und das passt zu 100 Prozent.
Die geschmorte Backe hat sich teilen lassen, wie einst Moses das Rote Meer teilte. 🙌 Butterweich und voller Geschmack. Bestes Bäckle ever!!!
Dazu geniale Kräuterkartoffelkrapfen, ordentlich Rotkohl, Weintrauben und superleckere Soße.

Dessert geht bei mir immer, diesmal aber "nur" ein Sorbet und zwar Birne mit intensivem Rosmarin. 😋

Das war sowas von lecker, dass ich direkt wieder einen Tisch reserviert habe! ... für Samstag, da gibts Roulade... und im September ... und im Oktober! 💪😜

Wonderful New Year's Eve dinner with Nicolas Rathge in the Oma Wilma restaurant • Keitum local cuisine.

As a small greeting from the kitchen there was a very fine, aromatic paprika cream in the croissant.

🍾 Champagne rosé Deutz

We continued with home-baked Frisian bread and whipped salted butter

🍾 2019 Pinot Gris “Windesheimer Fels”
🍾 Poss Winery, Windesheim, Nahe
🍾 Strong white wine from the barrique - my thing!

For starters, baked herring with apple, onion and capers.
Typical Nicolas! He always has such cool ideas that make you stop in your tracks when reading the card and then it surprises you in such a delicious way - simply amazing!

The main course was a great beef duet

Fillet perfectly medium-rare & braised cheeks

Nicolas subtitled it in the menu with “favorite food” and that’s 100 percent accurate.
The braised cheek could be shared like Moses once parted the Red Sea. 🙌 Buttery soft and full of flavor. Best bakery ever!!!
Plus brilliant herb potato fritters, lots of red cabbage, grapes and a delicious sauce.

Dessert is always an option for me, but this time it was “just” a sorbet, namely pear with intense rosemary. 😋

It was so delicious that I immediately reserved a table again! ... for Saturday, there's roulade... and in September... and in October! 💪😜
