Excellent Traditional Cuisine

Now I know how Bavarian food should taste.
The pork knuckle was amazing and huge (must be ordered in advance)
We ordered 2 between 5 people. We ate, fit to burst but still took half back.
Their house salad contained six different components including potato salad, ALL homemade (at last) and delicious, a very different dish to the many sloppy/bland, shop bought salads we have been served in inner town restaurants we have tried.
The food, service, venue, location and price was spot on and the perfect last dinner of our trip to the region. No wonder our friends chose Gasthaus Jagerwirt without question.
It may be a little way out of town but we'll worth a visit. The packed tables of locals seem to agree.

Cozy old Bavarian farmhouse restaurant with a beer garden. Traditional Bavarian dishes are offered as well as a daily varying menu of contemporary Italian inspired foods, prepared from fresh ecological ingredients. Everything very tasty and well prepared and served. A real gem of a local restaurant in a rural community of Oberbayern.
