I did not want to give 2 stars for such a beautiful property but the attitude and hospitality of the hotel isn't that great. The rooms are reall well managed. The ambience is beautiful especially the backdoor view from the mountains. Precious sceneries. However, everything stands spoilt because of the staff behaviour. I don't know why the restaurant staff is so arrogant. Never seen such a bad behaviour of the restaurant staff anywhere. They need soft skills training. The food spread was really good and I liked one humble man who was making grill stuf. If you ask me to come back to this property I won't only because of the poor hospitality.

I can only rate the restaurant. I ate dinner here but did not take a room. All the food I tried was excellently prepared and seasoned. The staff were all wonderfully friendly and attentive. I highly recommend. Worth the price.

Very friendly seminar hotel with nice food and quite comfy.. one star missing as there are some flaws - I had a roof room where I could not use the shower properly- the shower was limited in height as it was below the tilted roof area

I am reviewing the swimming pool and the wellness centre (Massage), not the accomodation as we didn't stay there. One of the receptionists was nice as well as one of the cleaning ladies, who went out of her way to bring us towels to the pool as reception forgot to give us towels or bathrobes, despite paying €14/person to access the pool. The reason for 2 stars is because of these 2 lovely staff. However the massage therapist was not good. The whole wellness centre looks like it needs renovation, we paid over €200 for massages as it was mum's birthday and mine and we told them it was a special occasion. Reception told us the appointment would be 13.00 when we arrived, massage therapist said 13.30, but in the end she agreed to do it at 13.00. My mum was due treatments that should have lasted 2.5 hours. By 2 hours and 15 minutes my mum was already kicked out saying her time is up. When I raised this (why did you finish 15 min early!?) She said her clock didn't work properly and offered me 10 min more for my massage. I found it ridiculous that I had to argue for the time we had paid for my birthday. They gave us a chocolate at the end but I'm afraid that was not a good experience. Pool was cold too. Would never return.

Bavarian country side style hotel that is located near many attractions and hiking trails. The rooms were clean and simple overall with a small balcony. The walls are relatively sound proof. During our visit, only the dinner buffet was available. The food was rather not good unfortunately (and therefore did not convince us to even try the breakfast despite being included) which is why I am giving three stars instead of four.  The food did not taste fresh nor high quality but this was made up by the friendly server. The nighttime/early morning front desk man from Berlin was very friendly and nice!
