A beautiful and straight out perfect dinner experience!
Food and wine are on top notch level with moments of magic, but what made this an outstanding experience is the relaxed atmosphere, amazing service staff and a humble chef.

Wir haben einen wundervollen Abend hier verbracht. Der Service war locker und trotzdem sehr professionell!
Die Zusammenstellung der einzelnen Gänge hat uns sehr gut gefallen und natürlich auch hervorragend geschmeckt.
Die Menüfolge wurde durch eine optimal abgestimmte Weinbegleitung abgerundet.

Nicht umsonst wird das "Kuhlemann" vom Guide Michelin empfohlen.

Ein Zauberer der Aromen! Jeder Gang aus regionalen Produkten in höchster Qualität aus  denen Herr Kuhlmann uns seine außergewöhnlich kreativen und harmonisch zusammengesetzten Gerichte auftischt.  Die Weinbegleitung war hervorragend auf die einzelnen Kreationen abgestimmt mit sorgfältig ausgewählten Weinen, die nicht in jedem Weinkatalog zu finden sind. Wir freuen uns schon darauf bald wieder ihre Gäste sein zu dürfen! Ein absolutes Highlight in der Oberpfalz!
P.S.:Ich könnte mir auch vorstellen, dass ein Vegetarier sehr glücklich das Restaurant verlässt.

A wizard of flavors! Each course is made from regional products of the highest quality, from which Mr. Kuhlmann serves us his exceptionally creative and harmoniously composed dishes.  The wine pairing was excellently matched to the individual creations with carefully selected wines that cannot be found in every wine catalog. We look forward to being your guests again soon! An absolute highlight in the Upper Palatinate!
P.S.: I could also imagine a vegetarian leaving the restaurant very happy.

Schon unser zweiter Besuch, nachdem wir letztes Jahr im Sommer das erste Mal da waren. Wir hatten das komplette Menü inkl. der beiden Surprise Gerichte und die Weinbegleitung. Alle Gerichte gefallen,  Höhepunkte für mich waren der Stör mit dem traumhaften Butternut, das Spargelgericht und die hervorragende Nachspeise (Dinkel mit Estragon). Super Brot. Weinbegleitung hervorragend und nicht zu überteuert.
Service sehr aufmerksam.
Ich persönlich würde mir wünschen, dass Ihr Eure Gerichte etwas aktiver und selbstbewusster präsentiert und erklärt, ich denke Ihr habt allen Grund dazu. Meiner Meinung könnt Ihr "Stern" und das solltet Ihr auch vertreten.
Und wie es weiter unten schon mal geschrieben wurde, über einen kleinen Extraschluck freut sich jeder :-)

This is our second visit after being there for the first time last summer. We had the complete menu including the two surprise dishes and the wine accompaniment. I liked all the dishes, the highlights for me were the sturgeon with the fantastic butternut, the asparagus dish and the excellent dessert (spelt with tarragon). Great bread. Wine accompaniment excellent and not too overpriced.
Service very attentive.
Personally, I would like you to present and explain your dishes a little more actively and confidently, I think you have every reason to do so. In my opinion, you can "star" and that's what you should represent.
And as it was already written below, everyone is happy about a little extra sip :-)

Unser vorweihnachtliches Essen mit allen Büro-KollegInnen war hervorragend. Die Gerichte des kreativ zusammengestellten Menüs wurden in optimalem Zeitablauf vom professionellen Restaurant-Team serviert und detailliert erläutert. Die abwechslungsreich und innovativ komponierten Speisen waren köstlich. Dem Chefkoch konnten wir beim Abschied persönlich unser Kompliment aussprechen.

Our pre-Christmas meal with all our office colleagues was excellent. The dishes from the creatively compiled menu were served in an optimal time by the professional restaurant team and explained in detail. The varied and innovatively composed dishes were delicious. We were able to personally express our compliments to the chef as we left.
