This is a spectacular hotel with a spectacular view. What makes it extra special are the staff that work there! We had an issue with our room that was very quickly addressed with multiple options given to solve the issue. The manager offered an explanation personally and they were very professional apologetic. We had great breakfasts and a fabulous dinner at the restaurant on site. The BEST Sunset views without leaving your hotel!!

This place was 10/10. From the moment we arrived all the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful with our needs. Our room was beautiful and the view from the patio was our favorite on the whole island. We had an incredible breakfast every morning that we really looked forward to! The staff at the pool bar was wonderful and fun to chat with! We could not recommend this place enough and when we do come back we will only be staying here!

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Katikies Chromata, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Our beautiful room boasted a private pool with breathtaking views overlooking the Aegean Sea - the perfect setting for a romantic getaway. The room was immaculate, with daily service ensuring it remained spotless throughout our stay.

We were delighted by the delicious breakfast included with our stay, offering a fantastic start to each day. The staff went above and beyond to make our trip special, even surprising my wife with a birthday cake without any prompting from us. It's those little touches that truly elevate a stay.

The hotel's location in Imerovigli is ideal. It's situated in a prime spot with stunning caldera views and is just a short cab ride away from the iconic blue domes of Oia.

Katikies Chromata provided the perfect blend of luxury, tranquility, and exceptional service. We can't wait to return in the future!

The view of the hotel is breathtaking and the history of the rooms are also amazing.
BUT, for being a “5 stars hotel” it lacks of many things.
First, we received our suite which had a terrible noise all night, luckily they were able to change our rooms to another location (they managed to solve it).
The “upgraded” room had no warm water and we mentioned it and they were no able to fix it.
Second, the service was okay; nevertheless, upon our arrival the waiter said to my boyfriend as a joke if he also find out the waitress good looking ?? (Are you kidding me? …So disrespectful). Overall the service was very basic, receiving food we didn’t order, very chaotic.
And third but not least, on our last day I was packing my last things only to realized my new bathing suit was missing! I managed to take everything out from my luggage before giving a complaint. Since I didn’t find it, made the report. They decided to go and help with the search, they didn’t find and suggested to call laundry (perhaps the cleaning took it by mistake with the sheets and towels). They also searched inside my luggage, until they called laundry.
Unfortunately they were not able to find it before me leaving, but they did later that day.
Sadly, it was me who had to do a follow up every week to know the status of my package, but it should have been them reaching out to me since it was their fault.
As I said in the beginning, breathtaking view, but there are many other good hotels around which can give oh a better service.

My long time wish was to renew my wedding vows in Santorini. We chose Katikies Chromata Hotel and we were simply spoiled by the beauty of the place, the sweetness of the staff and the delicious food. They have it all : attention to detail, friendly and professional staff, best view ever, amazing resort. Our ceremony was held on the hotel premises and two of the management staff run this special moment for us and they even told us a poem in Greek. They also organized a private photographer and our ceremony was followed by a wonderful dinner at a beautiful venue they recommended. I will definitely come back !
