We had dinner at the Stand25 Bistro on a Tuesday evening. The food was really good and very flavorful with a mix of French and Hungarian food. The servings were very large and almost too large which is a luxury problem. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful but unfortunately the staff that served the food didn’t present or explain the servings. We chose the wine pairing which was really good with local wines which really helped the flavor. The restaurant is situated on the outskirts of the old town in a nice area.

Very relaxed but at the same time professional and cozy atmosphere. The staff is truly good. The Palinka was the best we ever had. Food was quite good (especially the filet with the grilled liver and the mashed potatoes). For the wine it would have been appreciated a cooler to keep it at temperature. Definitely a place to recommend and to visit again!

Not as good as expected. Interior was nice,  the staff was very impersonal though. We have ordered the stuffed mangalica pepper , chicken pörkelt and 2 desserts, Somloi and Arany Galushka. The stuffed pepper was the best dish, but the portion was too small. The pörkelt had a nice flavour, the portion size was appropriate, but the texture of the egg dumplings was off. From the desserts , I recommend to skip Somloi and order Arany Galushka instead. It is much better, even tough the presentation was “sad” . Overall, the restaurant is too pricey for the dishes they came up with.

I have visited quite a lot of restaurants in Budapest. This is one of the best up to now.
Excellent food and presentation, nice atmosphere.

We had the Gulyas, pork & potatoes and the foie gras. It was really good overall but the Gulyas meat and the pork were a bit on the dry side.
