We had a romantic dinner as a couple, in a place full of atmosphere. We chose a tasting meal that was excellent and surprising, accompanied by local wine. The sweet local Tokaji wine was a pleasant and surprising ending. In summary, it was excellent. Highly recommended for lovers of fine dining. Don't miss it.

We had the pleasure of dining at Costes Downtown last night, enjoying the chef’s tasting menu by Chef Daniel. From the very first moment of service to the last, it was a unique and delicious culinary experience that will stay with us for a long time.

The quality of the dishes and the variety of flavors throughout the menu were exceptional. The experience felt complete – from the carefully curated dishes served at our table to the interactive dessert we assembled alongside Chef Daniel.

In short – highly recommended!

We spent a birthday lunch in Costes, overall the atmosphere and the restaurant are quite nice. We enjoyed the experience and food except the seafood. The beef and duck were quite good but I can’t recommend the trout. But it was nice of them to take it out from our bill. We left happy.

Costes was the most wonderful dining experience!! Sofia and Emilia took such good care of us the entire night - knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and all around lovely. They brought us extra bread and the butter (which was the best butter I’ve ever had) and even had suggestions of places in the city to check out. The kitchen staff were excellent preparing slightly altered dishes for pregnancy as was the bar tender making non alcoholic versions of the paired cocktails.

And the food was absolutely excellent. The paired flavors in each dish were superbly done. The presentation of each dish was exquisite. We got the tasting menu so we could try as much as possible and nothing disappointed.

Overall earned every star of a 5 star rating. Would rate it higher. Will be a highlight of our Europe trip and a dining experience we will never forget.

The service was fantastic. The staff didn’t miss a detail to make our experience perfect. The food was incredible, just the right balance of outstanding cuisine with flair, yet not so “crazy” that you don’t want to try it. The cheese course is not to be missed, oh and get the port!
