I stayed here with my group of 36 and I must say, this was an exquisite hotel. The food in the resturant was some of the best food I've ever tasted. I would eat there again even if I didn't stay at the hotel. The location is about a 20 minutes walk into the city center but its scenic and an enjoyable walk, just bundle up. My absolute favorite features: the heated bathroom floors and the beer garden. I would recommend having a tea kettle in the rooms, as not everyone drinks coffee, but the coffee pods are a nice touch.

Amazing stay! First visit to Reykjavik and could not have booked a better hotel. All the staff, yes all, were always amazing and very helpful. The rooms were modern and very clean.  Great bar with lots of beer selections and good food. Very good location with a quick walk to many shops and restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel was great as well. If we ever make it back to Reykjavik, I will just book here, no need to look for anything better.

Good location, near shopping and restaurants. Staff is accommodating.  Wake up, calls on time with the second call for verification.  Happy hour at the hotel is the best deal in town.

Had a lovely stay for 4 days with husband and two teenagers. Rooms were great. on 7th floor. Had to ask to split the double in to a twin which they did for us. Breakfast was included in our rate and was  fantastic. Staff all spoke english and were superb and very helpful.
Bus Stop 12 was right outside the door which was great for excursions. Beer Garden "Haust" in the basement, had a a good vibe and burgers and chicken were a reasonable price but the Kale salad was to "die for", really recommend it.
