Must See!
This iconic church was so fabulous to see in person. The design definitely fits the landscape of Iceland mimicking the basalt columns found on the coast.

I highly recommend you taking the elevators to the top where you get some great view of the city. And of course you get to hear the bells ring only a couple feet away from you.  The elevator is very smooth and quick. The windows have stools to stand on so you can get a better view and on a clear day you can really see far the view from top shows all the gorgeous colorful houses known in Iceland.

Such a magnificent piece of art. The church with its beautiful architecture clearly stands out as one of the major attractions of Reykjavik. Its interiors are simple, calming and peaceful. Overall, a must see place.

Visiting this iconic church was an unforgettable experience. Its design perfectly complements Iceland’s unique landscape, resembling the basalt columns found along the coast. Seeing it in person was truly awe-inspiring.

I highly recommend taking the elevator to the top for stunning views of the city. You’ll not only get to enjoy the breathtaking panorama of Iceland’s colorful houses but also hear the bells ringing just a few feet away—it’s such a unique experience!

The elevator ride is smooth and quick, and there are stools by the windows to help you get an even better view. On a clear day, the view stretches for miles, making the trip to the top absolutely worthwhile. Don’t miss it!
