Great little hotel right on the main shopping street. Everything is within walking distance. The staff is fast to respond to any problems (our tv stopped receiving channels because of a storm, in 5 minutes there was a concierge helping us reset the system). Rooms are modern and well equipped. Very nice!

ION City Hotel is modern place in the heart of the city centre, on the most famous street of Reykjavík. The biggest thumb up belongs to noise endurance.
Equipment is typical Scandinavian which I appreciate a lot because thanks to it, the hotel is authentic for the Nordic environment.
Minus is providing internet. The only way, how to get an access is by scanning a QR code which is only on the reception.

Great little hotel in the heart of it all. We loved walking around the town. Trendy, modern rooms and comfy beds.

Just a note - it was in our booking and we were warned that there was a bar outside so expect noise. They weren't kidding. It was NOISY until 4 am. But, they told us ahead and nothing we can do about it.

Wonderful property with well-curated furniture and basic but high quality amenities. You’ll feel a small city design-hotel vibe inside. There is no proper lobby, but they’re sharing the building with the Sumac restaurant which is excellent and also featured in the Michelin Guide.

Virginia is by far one of the most fantastic persons we’ve met during our whole trip! Her hospitality made our stay truly delightful!
