This is actually located in a food court of sorts. We were very impressed with the Cod (and the baked potatoes were so crispy on the outside!) as well as the Chicken dish (with very good fries) and we went back twice in two weeks.

My husband and I ordered the steak frites, to which the server kindly told us that they had a special going on with that particular dish which included a glass of wine. They were very accommodating as my husband and I do not drink alcohol, which we truly appreciated.

The steak was delicious, perfectly cooked, and the accompanying sauce was amazing. My husband said the fries were some of the best he’s ever had. Good prices and good food, check it out if you’re ever in Reykjavík! Just know that it’s inside a food hall so you don’t get lost.

Very, very good food!   Service was prompt and friendly, and water never ran dry.

Lamb and chicken were cooked perfectly.

Everything about our food was very delicious, something that we will be craving.  Will not hesitate to stop by whenever we are back in Reykjavik.  Takk!

Been going to Krost for some time now, trying out the menu. Never disappoints and most of the time exceeds any expectations I might had. I leave here a picture of the landscape they delivered once I ordered the honey glazed pork belly starter.

We decided to visit after hearing great things about the food being both delicious and reasonably priced, and it definitely lived up to the hype. We ordered the lamb chops and cod, and both were some of the best dishes we had in Iceland. The portions were generous and more than enough to satisfy us. Being in a food court, it’s easy to find a seat, and the service is quick. I highly recommend that travelers check it out at least once during their stay.
