We had a fantastic lunch here!

Everything was delicious and well presented.

We tried the fish soup
plokkari an Icelandic fish stew
fish & chips came with tartare
salad
and baked fillets arctic char also with tartare

Everything was fresh and flavourful.

The staff are attentive and helpful when you order at the counter, but you help yourself to cutlery, water, condiments like salt, vinegar, tomato sauce. The only thing is lemons are not served with the fish and chips..

The toilets are clean and tidy.

The restaurant had a nice quirky atmosphere with a great collection of fishing artwork and drawings dotted around the restaurant. Highly recommended!

This is one of the best fast-food styled fish restaurants i have been to. You get your own cutlery from a trolley, pay the food beforehand. It arrives fast, piping hot, fresh, fluffy and flavourful. Probably the best fish'n'chips i've eaten. The seafood soup was really damned good too. A bit rustic and run down interior lends an authentic feel. 10/10, highly recommended.

After hours braving the cold, I found warmth in a bowl of their fish soup. The rich blend of cod and mussels was comforting, but the unexpected touch of coconut milk made it unforgettable—a surprising twist that elevated every spoonful. They also have another cozy branch by the harbor.

Wonderful food and delicious beer. Cool atmosphere with good music. Very close to the big church. You know the one. Don't make me try to spell it.  Not as fancy as some of the other restaurants. Felt more authentic. It was perfect.

I had great fish and chips here. The fish was fresh, hot, crispy, and moist. As Gordon Ramsey would say, it was glistening! The tartar sauce was fantastic. Great for a quick and affordable dinner. Open later which is nice since a lot of restaurants close around 9 pm.
