I have just returned from a one night stay in the Merrion Hotel. It was absolutely fabulous. Beautiful luxurious room. The attention to detail in the room was phenomenal. It is what struck me the most. Lovely staff and excellent service. Thank you all! Ann

My wife and I had a sumptuous afternoon tea at The Merrion hotel recently.
The service from our arrival on the steps outside to being brought to our table was excellent.
Staff are so friendly and attentive, without being an overkill.
We had a fabulous seating area in the lounge and were able to enjoy the full atmosphere of the hotel.

The Art Afternoon tea was delicious with more than ample delicate sandwiches, cakes and pastries for us both.
The second course of pastries inspired by artwork hanging in the hotel was incredible. A real credit to the chef and staff.

Thanks for a lovely memory and occasion.
We shall be back!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just had a wonderful afternoon tea experience with my friend to celebrate our birthdays  and have to say it was beautiful.  From arrival to departure the staff were efficient,helpful and very friendly. A special mention to Hotaru who looked after us so well. She explained the different courses and the paintings they depicted . A very friendly girl who is a credit to the hotel. Sandwiches ,cakes and drinks were very tasty. Overall a wonderful experience.  Will be back

We had a lovely three night stay at The Merrion in early August. We had a gorgeous one bedroom suite facing the courtyard. And a second room for our teens. Housekeeping team did an absolutely impeccable job!  The check in was orderly and the valet team was so friendly. Breakfast was really nice with a fantastic waitstaff. The Cellar Bar was a cool setting for a before or after dinner cocktail. Dinner at the restaurant on our last night was relaxed with delicious food. The location is superb-across from the green, ten minutes from EPIC, 20 minutes walk to temple bar, 15 minutes to Trinity. Really convenient. The only issue was on a few occasions when I came downstairs, there seemed to be lots of staff just standing around and no one even greeted me. My husband said the same thing happened to him. We thought it was a bit odd. However, I would highly recommend this fantastic hotel and would happily return on my next trip to Dublin.

I went with my family for an Afternoon Tea, since they were visiting Dublin for the very first time.

Well, I couldn’t be more pleased with this choice and the whole experience! The venue is of course brilliant and as we found out Merrion Hotel hosts the largest art collection in a hotel in Ireland. Based on that, there was this very well-inspired final stage at our afternoon tea (see pictures attached) which was the chef’s kiss in our entire experience.

Finally, I should mention the great and friendly service as well as the live piano music playing at the background.
