What a great experience! Food is top star, you just want to try everything that is on the menu and the service was unreal. The “Arroz Negro” which has squid and octopus was my favorite, I eat a lot of seafood and so far this was one of my favorite things ever!

Since few years back we wanted to try this Spanish Restaurant in Dublin. Pleasant experience nevertheless the food despiste being good is overprice. In 'La Gordita' you won't find usual Spanish plates or tapas, they want to reinvent the cuisine using known products with key ingredients. You will get a very small portion and the taste might surprise you. Nothing extraordinary so far from 7 different tapas

Obviously, this restaurant is heading for higher food standards rather than typical Spanish tapas. In Spain, usually you don't pay for tapas, you can order more if you want more, and that's when you pay. But I'm aware this is not Spain.

Here I would recommend to try "Dúo de atún de Barbate/Cured tuna", "Bombitas de morcilla/Black Pudding" and "Berenjenas fritas con miel de caña/Fried Aubergine Crips".

What a gorgeous restaurant! From start to finish the service was 10/10, it was perfect and all the staff were so welcoming from the get go, including the bartender. The food was absolutely gorgeous, every dish was as good as the last! Would definitely recommend. Will be back!
