This pub could have been a gem with its beautiful Victorian decor and great drink selection, but the service is appalling. Staff were shockingly rude, treating patrons with utter disdain. Refusing bar seating when there’s nowhere else to sit is absurd. Avoid if you value respect!

David is a quintessential Irish Barkeep. Love the history of the Pub and friendly regulars that helped us find our way to lunch. Drinks were delicious and cold.

Lovely bar BUT the short grey haired barman in check shirt on Friday 17th January 2025 was unbelievably rude. The bar was almost empty and he pushed 2 of my friends in the back 3 times so he could put glasses on the empty bar. Lots of space around us. Not sure if he was sexist or racist but we stood at the bar for several minutes while his colleague ignored us by looking aeound blankly and eventually asked what we would like.

This place is awesome! If you don't want to spend too much money for drinks at "The Temple Bar", this is the best spot to save your money. Lol. That bartender (Eduardo) is also better than the tour guide I have went to, he's a great conversationalist, it was really cool to meet the dude! I would recommend this place!👍
