Recommended. Really nice atmosphere and great apetizers and desserts... not impressed by the main where the meat was not a nice cut and had lots of nerves. Wine even if expensive was good.

Everything was very tasty. I really liked the Achill lamb chops. Pate for starter was really creamy and went well with a slice of brioche.
The desert was fine, people I sat with thought I ordered another pate, because of the same shape 🤣
The interior design looks cool.

Dining at Suessey Street, once known for fine culinary execution, was nothing short of a disaster. To begin with, the lamb, a dish that should have been the highlight of the meal, was overpowered by an aggressive and unrelenting assault of garlic. I am still trying to remove the overpowering taste from my mouth.

The subtlety and balance one expects from a well prepared lamb were completely absent, drowned in a marinade that showed no restraint.

The starter of prawn risotto was an even greater disappointment. Risotto, at its best, should hold a delicate balance between creaminess and texture, but what arrived at the table could only be described as a sloppy, liquid mess. The prawns, which should have been tender and succulent, lacked any vibrancy, both in taste and presentation, reducing the dish to an insipid bowl of soggy rice.

Credit must be given where due, the staff were swift in removing the lamb from the bill after we expressed our displeasure. But the half hearted apology we received in return only added insult to injury. I noted that the staff requested support from their manager, who refused to come to the table and apologise, waving them off within our line of sight.

It was clear that the kitchen had either lost its way or simply didn’t care enough to correct its glaring mistakes.

A once nice establishment has evidently fallen from grace, and any semblance of a fine dining experience has vanished along with its standards.

Naturally, we didn’t stay for dessert.

Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant unless you’re curious enough to see its decline for yourself.

BRILLIANT! The service provided was just simply outstanding, Cainan recommended some amazing dishes for us to try. Every restaurant must have a guy like him, he was very patient, full of energy and kind to speak with. Would surely come back for the experience. I would totally rate the food and hospitality a 10/10. The place has a beautiful vibe as well.

Food was OK, but service was exceptionally poor, ranging from incredible inattentiveness to forgotten orders and inappropriately long waits for requests/orders. At 2230, when there were only a few customers left in the restaurant, you would expect tip-top, very attentive service for the few remaining tables. At €125 per head, I would have expected a lot more. There was a 12.5% service charge included in the bill (8 covers); it's just as well, because I would left zero tip if I had the option. There was a legendary, non-Irish, professional rugby player in attendance tonight at another table; I pray to God his experience was better than ours - embarrassing.
