A group of friends had lunch, everything was fantastic, the service, the food and the ambience. They were very welcoming and relaxed even though our numbers had dropped from the original booking.  The location is fantastic just a few minutes walk from Grafton street, Pearse St. train station and lots of bus stops.  We will definitely be back.

We loved our stay at the Alex! We had a twin bed room and the rooms were so comfy and cozy. I’d say the only negative is that the rooms were H O T. We even had to turn on the air con to the lowest setting, and it was still outrageously warm. Otherwise- the staff was kind, the lobby was gorgeous. Would def stay again!

Very nice and affordable spot in Dublin. My wife and I were here for a few days around New Year’s, and the Alex was exactly what we needed. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the room was clean, spacious, and well designed. The only minor downside is that the location isn’t as convenient to happening neighborhoods like Grafton St. as it could be - it’s about a 15-20 minute walk anywhere. That said, if you’re looking for a quiet spot with a couple of nice pubs in walking distance, the Alex works quite well. Very much recommended!

Had a lovely stay here for my birthday could walk to anything we wanted in the city.
The room was so spacious and warm.
The staff were so friendly the second we arrived Simon at reception was in particular super helpful and nice.

Great stylish hotel, within walking distance of tourist attractions. The hotel staff are very accommodating & the restaurant food was excellent. I’d definitely stay here again.
