We had pre-dinner cocktails in this gorgeously decorated bar with Victorian flare.  The history was interesting, the service perfect and friendly and accommodating.  Enjoyed ourselves very much learning and talking, whilst enjoying great drinks.

Favorite pub in all of Dublin, it never disappoints. Outstanding Victorian decor that is worth your time to wander around and taken. Excellent selection of whiskeys, as you would expect. They have a good offering of beers on tap. Stop as quick and efficient and friendly even at the most busiest times.

One of the top classics pubs in Dublin, definitely the number one with Victorian style.

Definitely a must to feel the atmosphere of an authentic irish pub.

I used to work around the corner years ago, and we would frequent The Long Hall after work to talk shop so to speak. This is a pub steeped in history and it hasn’t changed much in the years since.

It was nice to pop back in and sit, watch and soak up the atmosphere.

💯 This pub's the real deal in Dublin with friendly staff, patrons,  and comfy stools. There are MANY fabulous pubs around town that have that inviting, warm, come-in-and-have-a-pint feel, but this one is gorgeous, and the BEST part is NO TVs!  Nope, not a single electronic screen detracting from the ambiance.  You get to have conversations (remember those?)
I'm sure the management takes a hit  on football days, but please... DONT CAVE and add them in. You'll break the spell.  I was told It's one of only a few pubs that dont have them, and that makes it an absolute gem.
Great drinks, great bartender,  great ambiance,  great Irish conversations and laughter going on around you in great Irish accents... The best 👌
