Had a meal here before heading to a show in Vicar St. I had the pate followed by the cannelloni, both dishes were delicious. My husband wasn't as happy with his choices (some kind of fish) but he admitted he hadn't properly read the menu description. It's a little on the expensive side but a nice treat particularly if you're going to a show.

This was a really nice dinner restaurant! I did a walk-in, and they were able to seat me right away. The staff was really sweet and I felt welcomed! The food was also really good. I got the cannelloni, and it was very delicious! It was the best meal I'd had in a while. It was pretty expensive but it was worth it!

Had the 3 course set menu with some friends, food was great. Perfectly cooked, can't complain. We ordered some espresso martinis near the end of our dining experience but were quite disappointed as there was a very strong burnt coffee taste. No sweetness or balance of flavours, I would be leaning towards the fact that the coffee machine hasn't been looked after or looked at by a professional for some time for sure. Perhaps the staff isn't aware of this burnt coffee taste from their espresso machine, it could've been masked by some extra sweetness from sugar syrup or something similar. Would recommend, but not the espresso martini unfortunately.

Beautiful restaurant!
Servers were very friendly!
All mains were cold when we got them and the plates were very hot which usually means that the food was sitting under a heat lamp for a long time.

I would visit again for drinks only!

Found Trocadero by last-minute recommendation as looking for a restaurant toward - around Temple bar lively vibe area .. A passing Gent recommended Trocadero.  Abs not disappointed.  Very warm, welcoming, low-key restaurant with engaging staff ( Arthur) and we were pleased that owner Robert spent a little time for a chat too. It's certainly not an inexpensive restaurant to visit, but for ' foodies ', the dishes were excellent and un pretentious . We met customers that had returned over the last 20 - 40 years ... That must say something.. Whole heartely recommended.
