My husband & I had a lovely stay at Villa Maiella!  Staff was very welcoming & attended to all of our needs. The rooms were pristine!   Views from the villa were  breathtaking. . We dined at the Michelin restaurant on the premises & it was fabulous!  Highly recommend!

Very friendly and welcoming service, not too much distance, amazing menu with an extraordinary wine pairing, nearly everything from Abruzzo region or even nearby. The restaurant is somewhat reminiscent of a meeting room, even if it has been nicely decorated. Because of the large tables, we sat a little far apart, but this was still okay. Our waitress was really attentive and also wrote down all the wines for us. The plates were really delicious and creative.

The service was impeccable. The wine was accessible, easy to match to the menu, particularly with the help of the family at the helm. We opted for the large meal, and would have been well-served to scale down to the medium meal, as the servings were more than adequate and we barely had room to appreciate the final bites.

My Grandfather used to bring us here when we were younger. It deserve to be a Michelin restaurant. The staff is always amazing and the food is excellent. High italian gastronomia! If you are in the Abbruzzo you need to go and try it. The server really tried to explain everything in English to my wife!
