We had an exceptional lunch at Borgo Spoltino with amazing seasonal products. I had requested a reservation through e-mail as I was on a road trip and I would make the detour especially for this place. Their response was immediate. The restaurant is located amidst olive groves and is easy to find. The service was impeccable and eager to assist, the food was amazing and for the end the waiter introduced us to a wonderful bitter liquor! All in all a wonderful experience. Grazie!

Excellent.  Quantity is never lacking in Abbruzzo; but the quality was fantastic. Simple dishes, respecting age-old recipes, but always with a surprising twist. The lentils were super tasty - but the dish was deeper and contained more than the eye bargained for. The rack of ribs at the end was a challenge not to be wasted once it was discovered that it had been marinated for hours and THEN cooked for over 5 hours in a wood-fired oven. How often do you come across a dish like that. Choice of wine top.....
