We just celebrated our first wedding anniversary at Re Santi e Leoni and we absolutely loved it. They even sent us a small celebratory dessert! The entire staff was awesome (including Raffaele, our waiter) and the food was delicious. The wine pairing was incredibly accurate and we loved every drop.

Bellissima esperienza.
Locale bellissimo, elegante, pulito e raffinato. Servizio ineccepibile, camerieri sempre presenti e disponibili, Raffaele bravissimo a spiegarci ogni portata e Salvatore altrettanto ad aiutarci nella scelta del vino.
La cosa più bella è che è sì un ambiente formale, ma ti senti sempre a tuo agio con tutte le persone che lavorano in sala. Altre volte in altri ristoranti dello stesso livello ci siamo sentiti quasi fuori luogo in ambienti troppo troppo seri!

Per quanto riguarda il cibo è stata un'esperienza di sapori che difficilmente dimenticheremo. Abbiamo scelto il menu Santi di 6 portate che ci ha portato a fine cena anche super sazi.

Da ritornarci per provare il menù Leoni a libera interpretazione dello chef (che è venuto anche a ringraziarci al tavolo a fine serata).

Insomma, così si fa ristorazione!

Beautiful experience.
Beautiful, elegant, clean and refined place. Impeccable service, waiters always present and available, Raffaele very good at explaining each course to us and Salvatore equally good at helping us choose the wine.
The best thing is that it is a formal environment, but you always feel at ease with all the people who work in the room. Other times in other restaurants of the same level we felt almost out of place in too serious environments!

As for the food, it was a flavor experience that we will hardly forget. We chose the 6-course Santi menu which left us super full at the end of dinner.

We'll be back to try the Leoni menu, freely interpreted by the chef (who also came to thank us at the table at the end of the evening).

In short, this is how you do catering!

Una delle mie poche recensioni "combattute", perché alla fine della serata non sono riuscito a determinare se l'esperienza è stata positiva o meno.
Partiamo dal locale: ambiente sobrio, pulito, moderno, a me piace. La separazione tra i tavoli è sufficiente.
Il personale: ho più di qualche dubbio, è gentile ma non sembra essere sufficientemente preparato circa la composizione delle pietanze, qualche sorriso di circostanza alle considerazioni e nulla più, è chiaramente giovane, avrà l'opportunità di migliorare.
Circa la cucina: "se il buongiorno si vede dal mattino"... avrei voluto dire, perché l'entrée mi ha piacevolmente sorpreso, gustoso, sufficientemente elaborato, un bel biglietto da visita per lo Chef... ma poi è stato un "saliscendi".
Riguarda il mio gusto personale, gli ingredienti presi uno ad uno, erano di chiara qualità, è il bilanciamento dei sapori che mi ha lasciato molto perplesso: si nota come i sapori siano molto spinti, ma qui andiamo ben oltre l'esplosione dei sensi, almeno secondo i miei gusti, l'acidità è presente e molto marcata in ogni piatto, probabilmente un segno distintivo dello Chef, che sfortunatamente però non incontra completamente il mio palato.
L'idea del menù al buio mi piace, sono amante delle sorprese, ma ci sono persone che non amano l'incognita, e non c'è alternativa per i menù degustazione, rivedrei questo aspetto.
Riassumendo: le idee sono piacevoli e fantasiose, le materie prime sono di assoluta eccellenza, è l'insieme che mi ha lasciato un po' 'amaro (l'acido) in bocca: alcune cose mi sono piaciute, altre sono state davvero difficili da valutare.

One of my few "conflicted" reviews, because at the end of the evening I couldn't determine whether the experience was positive or not.
Let's start with the venue: a sober, clean, modern environment, I like it. The separation between the tables is sufficient.
The staff: I have more than a few doubts, they are kind but do not seem to be sufficiently knowledgeable about the composition of the dishes, a few smiles of circumstance at the considerations and nothing more, they are clearly young, they will have the opportunity to improve.
Regarding the cuisine: "if a good morning starts in the morning"... I would have liked to say, because the entrée pleasantly surprised me, tasty, sufficiently elaborate, a nice business card for the Chef... but then it was a "up and down".
It's about my personal taste, the ingredients taken one by one were of clear quality, it's the balance of flavors that left me very perplexed: you can see how the flavors are very strong, but here we go well beyond the explosion of the senses, at least according to my taste, the acidity is present and very marked in every dish, probably a distinctive sign of the Chef, which unfortunately however does not completely meet my palate.
I like the idea of ​​the menu in the dark, I love surprises, but there are people who don't like the unknown, and there is no alternative for tasting menus, I would revisit this aspect.
In summary: the ideas are pleasant and imaginative, the raw materials are of absolute excellence, it is the whole that left a bit of a bitter taste (acid) in my mouth: I liked some things, others were really difficult to evaluate.

We came on business and tried the Santi tasting route. We tasted some of the best and most original creations. The fame of this place is also and above all well placed for its desserts, in particular the pastiera which was named dessert of the year by Michelin. Recommended we will be back.
