First of all I cannot deny that the location of the restaurant is absolutely amazing.

Unfortunately the service provided by the owner ( all the other staff were lovely) upon arrival and for the duration of the evening was the worst eating experience I have ever had to endure in a long time, especially in this area of Emilia Romagna where it is extremely difficult to eat a bad meal!

To watch a restaurant owner float around taking orders then sit down at his own table and smoke a sigarette and have a glass of wine while his staff work around him and take up the flack is just beyond me.

Being told that your orders would arrive separately because we all ordered different choices from the menu and then having to wait  an hour and thirty minutes for our starters to arrive is wrong..I won't waste time writing about the non existent main course or the cold desert served on a hot plate with a spoon so hot it could have melted asphalt..

All of this for the extortionate price of 260 euros.I don't mind paying for good service and good food but the expectation definately did not meet with the experience and for the price paid.
