The location and rooms are great, it is so central that we reached almost everywhere on foot. I definitely recommend those who will come to Rome to stay here. Reception works between certain hours, the staff is very helpful and polite. The rooms are very well heated on cold winter days. We stayed in a mezzanine family room for 4 people, the stairs lead to the upper floor and there are 2 beds upstairs. Breakfast is available every morning for an extra charge of 10€. In terms of price performance, it's hard to find better than this. I definitely recommend this boutique and sweet hotel :)

Historic and charming building for sure. I'm not so sure if that translates to a functional and comfortable stay through. Firstly, the rooms and the bathrooms are comically small. There's a bed, wardrobe and a small table and then there's barely any space to open up one medium sized suitcase. No it's not one of those modern compact rooms that's designed to be space efficient, it's just dysfunctionally small. The shower cubicle is so small that I could not stretch my arms to give myself a proper scrub. I'm 5'10" and weighs about 75kg (so not a big a person by any stretch of imagination). There's trace amounts of black mould in the shower. The biggest problem however was sound proofing. The floors are completely made of wood, no it's not wooden tiling, it's just all timber. This means you hear every movement of those in the rooms above you. If there happens to be kids in a room on the floor above, good luck!! I had my sleep disrupted many times during my stay. On a more positive positive note, the front desk guy who checked me in was super nice.

Great location! Via Giulia is a little calmer than many other streets in rome in my experience, being a limited traffic area, safer for walking, and a little away from the busier tourist areas. The room we stayed in had an authentic 500 year old painting on the wall (fresco) and had a great view from the windows looking out over the street. Nice bathroom with a jetted tub and a rain shower head. Helpful, friendly staff made it a great choice for a stay in Rome!

5 Rating.    We booked this hotel for 3 nights.

Room was small but cozy.   Window to the courtyard.    Bed was comfortable.
Bathroom Shower was tight for space.   Being from Canada, we are not used to such tight spaces but it worked.

Air conditioning was AMAZING.   We stayed in August where it was 38 degrees outside and a comfortable 21 inside the room.

Breakfast was great for 10 Euro.

Elevator worked well for those wondering.

Great location, super quiet but close to all the sights.

1.Strictly speaking, this is just a guesthouse not a hotel, and the management is extremely disorganized. The front desk closes after 7 PM, which is very inconvenient.
2.They charged us 200 euros simply because we booked too early. For the same type of room, if you book just a few days in advance, the price is usually around 100 euros. This is a very malicious pricing strategy. The front desk staff even refused to acknowledge their pricing strategy.
3.The room was incredibly small—once we put down our suitcase, there was no space to move around at all!!
4.Please take a close look at the photos others have posted; the room even looks like it has mold, yet it still has 5-star reviews. I have no idea how much they spent to get these fake reviews.
5.I rarely leave bad reviews, but this hotel was just too infuriating and will never return again!!!
