Last place we visited for dinner on our short Rome stay over. It was the priciest place we have eaten, but good value for money. The nicest restaurant with a good selection. I had the lamb with roast potatoes, best lamb ever. The rest of our party had pasta dishes, which they highly

The waiter was straight up stereotypical of a high end waiter, not something I’m used to and although a little comical to me it really added to the experience 10/10. Thank you.

Overall a nice way to round off our stay in Rome.

Eve of departure, an opportunity to try dishes with tartuffo. Used Yelp's top 10 tratorrias in the Spagna area to short list still open dining places. No reservation but was lucky to get one of the last 2 table. Concierge was welcoming and led to one of the dining rooms  underground. Ordered an antipasti of Foccacia with truffles and followed with lasagna with porcini mushrooms with cream sauce topped with truffles, grilled tuna coated with pistachio nuts and pesto sauce on the side, finally a contorni of roman style grilled artichoke. Downed with Roman still water. Foccacia was crunchy, warm, topped with stringy cheese and truffles as main flavor-simple but amazingly tasty. Same with the lasagna delicious intermingling of porcini and truffle flavors made savory with mildly salted creamy sauce. The tuna was well done as ordered was fresh tasting made crunchy by generous crushed pistachio crusting. The on the side pesto sauce added color to the dish but, unfortunately, was bland- wished it had a more of the basil overtones, the umami and saltiness of parmigiano cheese and perhaps the tang of lemon to it. Ambiance was great for solo or  dining for a couple.
Service was quick generally though would suggest to management that the male wait staff can be a bit more warm rather than cold efficient when engaging with guests-thus 1 star less than 5.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience here! This restaurant was recommended via our cab driver from the Rome airport, and it did not disappoint! If you love fresh truffle, go here. If you love quaint and cozy, go here. If you love carbonara, GO HERE! This is the best carbonara we’ve ever had! Thank you to the staff - We can’t wait to return!

Down a little side street and definitely worth checking out.  We walked by at 1840 (they open at 1900) and reserved a table, when we came back at 1905 it was full!  The menu is simple Italian and all the better for it.  Very much a local rather than a tourist restaurant.

We really enjoyed our dinner.
We had the vitello saltimbocca, the tripe and the spaghetti vongole. The tripe was very good. The spaghetti was cooked really well and the clams were very fresh and all had great flavors. Service was very good.
