Very nice outdoor area, but dining inside is also a nice experience, with very cozy furniture, vinyls and wine everywhere.
Staff is young and well prepared about wine and food, including seasonal proposals.

Food was great, with generous portions and amazingly presented dishes.

Mixed feelings.  Clearly a deliberate choice was made to present updated versions of Roman classics, which is a totally valid approach, on the condition that the updates are at least as satisfying as the classics.  I thought they delivered where the antipasti were concerned (e.g., a really excellent salt cold / squash dish, a good mushroom and chickpea potage); not so much with the primi (the updated gricia and amatriciana were fairly bland, lacking the strong flavors that characterize the classic versions).  Too bad, because the setting and service were very nice.

Abbiamo mangiato qui per un pranzo domenicale. Il parcheggio è piccolo. Cibo e preparazioni veramente deliziose. Ottima anche la carta dei vini. Locale carino, ben arredato, dove ti senti veramente a casa. Piccola nota, ci sono stati addebitati 2€ a persona per il taglio della torta portata da noi, nonostante avessimo chiesto noi il coltello ma che alla fine non è mari arrivato.

We ate here for a Sunday lunch. The parking lot is small. Truly delicious food and preparations. The wine list is also excellent. Nice place, well furnished, where you really feel at home. Small note, we were charged €2 per person for cutting the cake brought to us, even though we had asked for the knife but in the end it never arrived.

Abbiamo trovato una perla a due passi da Roma. Con mia moglie abbiamo deciso di provare questo ristorante consigliato dalla guida Michelin che è stato possibile prenotare con poco preavviso tramite The Fork. Il locale ha un piccolo ma utilissimo parcheggio ed è appena fuori Grottaferrata. All’ingresso siamo stati accolti da Francesca, simpaticissima e preparatissima, che ci ha mostrato le varie salette, tutte molto carine e con pochissimi coperti. Ci siamo accomodati in una sala con il camino che purtroppo era spento. Il ristorante offre 3 menu degustazione ma è anche possibile ordinare alla carta, e così abbiamo fatto. Ci è stata offerta un’ottima spuma (di arachidi mi pare) in attesa dell antipasto. Ogni singola portata è stata graditissima, superiore alle aspettative, ottime nel sapore e nella presentazione. Anche la quantità leggermente superiore rispetto ad un locale di pari livello. Unica nota stonata i dolci, che abbiamo trovato buoni, ma di livello inferiore rispetto alla cena. Due critiche costruttive, le sale sono fredde, ci vorrebbero più stufe, e quando il camino è spento pulite accuratamente la cenere perché oltre ad essere brutto esteticamente emana forte odore di bruciato. Per il resto veramente soddisfatti, ci torneremo in primavera per provare il nuovo menu. Complimenti.

We found a pearl a stone's throw from Rome. My wife and I decided to try this restaurant recommended by the Michelin guide which was possible to book at short notice through The Fork. The place has a small but very useful car park and is just outside Grottaferrata. At the entrance we were greeted by Francesca, very nice and well-prepared, who showed us the various rooms, all very nice and with very few seats. We sat in a room with a fireplace which unfortunately was turned off. The restaurant offers 3 tasting menus but it is also possible to order à la carte, and so we did. We were offered an excellent foam (peanut I think) while waiting for the appetizer. Every single course was very welcome, exceeding expectations, excellent in flavor and presentation. Even the quantity is slightly higher than in a place of the same level. The only downside was the desserts, which we found good, but of a lower standard than the dinner. Two constructive criticisms, the rooms are cold, more stoves would be needed, and when the fireplace is off clean the ash carefully because in addition to being aesthetically ugly it gives off a strong burning smell. For the rest really satisfied, we will return in spring to try the new menu. Compliments.
