The restaurant filled up fast after opening - I was lucky to arrive just at 7.30pm to get a seat. It filled up by 7.45pm I think.

The food is excellent and you know the chef takes pride in it.

There is a lot of food that we don't get outside of Italy .. even Genoa.

I tried the cappon magro which is a salad with seafood with green sauce. Amazing.

And I had the trofi Al pesto - which is great too. Wish I can eat some more and try other dishes.

Great restaurant, the best we did in Genova. Very tasty food, reasonable price and portions. Is recommended by Michelin Guide. Is however most time fully booked so please book ahead and arrive on time

We found this restaurant as a bib gourmand recommended place.
Indoor seating was full so, we sat outside tables.
First, the service was excellent even though we were outside 👌🏻 The menu of the day was written in Italian, so the lovely waitress translated it to us carefully. According to the menu we asked her what kind of wine she would’ve recommended. And we were very happy with our wine at the end.
We shared 3 course meal which was lovely and delicious and enough for two people.

Price/performance ratio was excellent. I definitely recommend this place for future reference 👌🏻
Oh and the bread basket 😍🤤

Booked on the same day. Short menu with local dishes. Service fast and polite. Good wine for less than 20€. Started with Cod mash with black olives and steak tartar both delicious, but tartar needed seasoning, maybe with capers. Secondi we had locally caught tuna on salad and slow cooked pork with figs. The tuna was perfectly cooked with a chimchiri sauce. Shared tiramisu to finish. This is not fine dining, but it is exceptional food, with a lovely atmosphere down a side street of the main piazza.

Felice, the owner was very focused on making sure everything runs smooth.
The staff were very attentive.  The food well it is a gastronomic experience ..a must.
