I visited Gatto Nero with my clients, who are planning to host their pre-wedding dinner at this restaurant, and we were all very impressed with the service. We tried several dishes, each of which left a strong impression on us. Although I don’t remember the names of all the dishes, the one that stood out the most was, of course, the truffle pasta. It was absolutely divine. The service was excellent throughout our visit.

The restaurant has two terraces—one on the upper floor and another smaller, more intimate one just below. However, every dining room offers an incredible view. The restaurant also provides parking and can assist you with parking, as finding a spot on these narrow streets can be quite challenging.

I highly recommend this restaurant for a wonderful lunch or a romantic dinner.

Gatto Nero is an absolute fantastic restaurant that I strongly suggest you visit! From the moment we stepped in, we were captivated by the enchanting atmosphere. The service was impeccable, with staff who were attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel truly welcomed.

But the real star of the show is the food. Every dish was a symphony of flavors, showcasing the chef's incredible talent and passion. This is undoubtedly one of the most unique dining experiences I've had. I cannot recommend Gatto Nero highly enough. It's a must-visit for any food lover!

One of the most esteemed Italian restaurants in Como offers a breathtaking panoramic experience with captivating views of the lake and mountains.

It is widely known that this Hidden gem is a favorite of the renowned actor, George Clooney.

The reservation process was remarkably efficient, facilitated by a simple email exchange, reminiscent of traditional communication methods. Upon arrival, we were graciously provided with a desirable table by the window, which greatly enhanced our dining experience.

As evident from the attached photographs, we commenced our meal with the delectable Veal Tonnato, which was exceptionally well-prepared. We also savored the Rosso Gambari, another culinary masterpiece.

Subsequently, we shared our main courses, which included the Spaghetti with lobster and the classic off-the-menu Cacio e pepe.

In conclusion, our visit to Il Gatto Nero  was undoubtedly worthwhile, and we highly recommend it as an exceptional dining experience.

We enjoyed an amazing birthday dinner! They gave us the most beautiful table with the most incredible views. The food was to die for! Sooooo good. The hospitality was top notch. This restaurant is a must when visiting Lake Como! Thank you again for making David’s birthday dinner one he will never forget!🫶🏼

We visited with a group of 4. Celebrated a special birthday and I speak for all 4 of us that Gatto Nero was exceptional in every sense. We arrived about 20 minutes before our reservation which was at opening time and right off they offered to seat us at our table so we could enjoy their stunning views over Lake Como. We had wine, spritz's, multiple starters, 4 meals and finished with, I'm almost certain, the best Tiramisu we'veeber had. We also had cappuccinos and espresso. The staff was friendly and on point every second we were there. The views will make your night and the server even set up transportation back to our hotel. This is an easy choice and I can't even make since of how this beautiful restaurant has any negative reviews. Trust me, take my advice and just assume any negative review was from a very unhappy person before they even walked in the door!! Highly recommended!!!!!
