We had such a great experience in Trippa. First of all, staff are awesome. They are so kind and professional. Prices are affordable for a Michelin restaurant.
You will need reservation because the restaurant is fully booked most of the time.
Food was awesome- I will go there again whenever I am in Milan.

I’ve travelled to Italy 4 times now, been to Milan, Rome, Napoli and Calabria and this was easily my favourite meal I’ve ever had!
The wild boar ragu pasta was so comforting and delicious, the pork and cabbage one was equally delicious too!
The starters of fried tripe, grilled leeks and tartare were outstanding. My friend who had never had tripe was addicted! The desserts cannot be missed. The tiramisu I’m sure used homemade savoiardi biscuits and genuinely may be the best tiramisu I’ve ever had. The panna cotta was divine and that sauce was incredible! I cannot wait to dine there again!

Was a great experience, the food was very tasty and the restaurant looked like a traditional trattoria.

The appetizer we got was fresh, nice and tasty, we loved it.

The pasta we tried was also very delicious, fresh and cooked as I like, the filling was really nice as well.
Nothing to complain about the kitchen, just congratulations.

Service was quite slow and the server had forgotten about our order a few times.

I’m having mixed feelings about Trippa, but I’m only giving my honest opinion based on what I ordered on the day.

Trippa Fritta - TRY ✅- this dish is what make them famous after all- crisp and fried to the perfection - not greasy and if you never tried offal, this would be a good intro dish for you

Tagliatelle - TRY ✅ - simple and classic . After all butter and parmigiano makes everything taste better

Trippa - SKIP 🫤 - too greasy and fat , dipping with bread can’t save the dish. Really not a fan for the way they making this dish, the extensive taste of butter on top of fat from the trippa not sexy

Panettone - SKIP - you have to order this at this season. The panettone is alright, but a bit disappointed about the cream they prepped for the cake… it was really bland and come on I know the team can do a better job

I tried this restaurant based on the high ratings and the long waiting for reservation and unfortunately it was under my expectations. Except for the salad and the dessert, the other two dishes were below average and do not reach to be highly rated. Anyway, I think this restaurant is not for anyone, or my selection of the dishes was not suitable for my taste.

The restaurant is charging extra 50 euros for my friend who could not make it because he had an emergency, Due to this treatment I even lowered my review of the service to be 1 star which was unfair treatment by the restaurant even if this is mentioned in the policy as I have attended to my reservation.
