Food, service and atmosphere well above expectations from a trattoria. The service was friendly, quick and efficient. The menu enough for a few visits without getting tired of it, the design / ambience is modern and the location quite convenient. Prices correspond to the value one is getting.

Had an amazing experience in this restaurant! Service is top notch, all team is welcoming and nice. They were giving their recommendations, and doing amazing job making sure that everyone at the table was having a nice time (even if we were 13!).
Location is central, by the river and with a beautiful view. Food was also perfect, with a lot of different options from different regions of Italy. Menu was rich and full of different choices. Ah, and of course - a looooot of dishes are gluten free.

What to say about Almondo? The service was welcoming, knowledgeable and courteous. The dishes were timed perfectly, and the minimal atmosphere let’s you take in the marvelous Piedmontese flavors that the chefs at Almondo managed to create.

Along with a few other dishes, we ordered the Piedmontese tasting menu which generously included a (full portion) entrée, secondo, primo, and dessert. The Vitello Tonnato was delectable, the Tajarin with veal, pork and rabbit ragu was the absolute star of the show, and the beef cheek was cooked to perfection. The Cacio e Pepe is one that you should not miss, and the tiramisu honestly couldn’t get any better. We paired our meal with the recommended Barbera d’Atsi house wine which the region is famous for.

Diverse Italian food from north to south are offered on menu. They are delicious! 4/5
Our Favourites: Pallote cacio e ova and GuanciA brasata con purée di patate. It was too good.
The Gianduja cake was ok and it could be better

This restaurant is probably better than most in the city in this price range. We had a 4-course meal here and everything was good: the bread, house wine, veal with tuna sauce, braised pork cheek, egg pasta with three meats - was all consistently good. Desserts of Crème caramel and tiramisu were fine although not superb. Highly recommended.
