Best restaurant I’ve visited in this region. Had my birthday lunch here, despite sharing this information upfront, the restaurant didn’t prepared anything special on this occasion. We had the 5 course surprise menu which came with two additional entrees and Pralinés to conclude. The wine pairing matched but the chosen ones were quite underwhelming in terms of quality and price. I was hoping to have one outstanding Barolo included in the wine pairing. Nevertheless the overall experience was very pleasant and the service very friendly. The castle, the view and the whole setting is just stunning. Fair pricing.

We were told that the chef had for us the usual vitello tonnato and agnolotti, no menu no choices. Unacceptable, we had chosen the place for a special meal not for a lunch off a tour bus. To travel thousand of miles for a different special experience and to eat the usual dishes was so stunningly disappointing we fell mute in astonished realization that nothing was going as we had dreamed of.

Good restaurant in a great setting. The placement inside the castle is very novel and makes for a fun dinner. We thought this was a bit expensive for the level of food compared to similar restaurants, but we enjoyed the experience and would visit again.
