From the service to the food Josto was a great experience.
We went there without a reservation and they were so sweet in accommodating us.
The food was amazing they revisit traditions all while maintaining the essence! The staff was just great extremely friendly and there to guide you through their creations!
I recommend 100 times if you are in Cagliari!

Josto was an immersive experience where art meets the best flavors. We had the fix menu and each plate was magnificent!
Definitely a hidden gem of Cagliari. I wish I could take the restaurant back home with me. Great service and atmosphere.

Fantastic place as recommended by Condé Nast Traveller. We didn’t have a reservation but were able to walk in on a warm summer night and get a table right away. The atmosphere has warm brick walls which contrasts with the metal artistic scaffolding that didn’t seem to have a structural purpose. The energy was mostly couples and some friends, a birthday was happening in the second room. All of the guests seemed entrenched in their conversation and their food, which was a good sign. Our service was somewhat attentive and answered questions when we asked. I would absolutely go back again.

Didn't love the food, service despite all the reviews and hype. We ordered the ravioli and malloreddus but the pasta was too undercooked in both cases. Don't get me wrong, I love my pasta al dente, but this was next level, I could see flour when I cut the malloreddus. The mullet and beef were fine but nothing extraordinary. Lastly my negroni sbagliato had too much campari and too little vermouth

I took my wife for her birthday to Josto and it was a near-perfect experience.
We both chose the tasting menu which we could barely finish, but every dish was exquisite and well presented.
What I truly enjoyed was the perfectly balanced atmosphere. On one hand, sophisticated and elegant food, on the other hand a friendly and comfortable vibe from the waiters and staff as well as from the vinyl player in the corner. Amazing food and some Dire Straits, i don’t need more.
We felt the whole wine pairing was a bit much, yet they really felt we’d be missing out so they offered to share a wine pairing for the 2 of us (trust me, the glasses didn’t look like half glasses).
Top class experience, definitely would come back!
