Amazing experience. We did not have a tour guide or the audio guide, instead relying on Google and Wikipedia. We still found it amazingly informative and moving. The structures, and the history behind them, we're readily accessible. It made a historical period I'm not super familiar with (Greek colonization of Sicily) come alive.

Amazing historical site. Let your imagination run wild with these archeological structures! Honored for this opportunity to experience the magnificence and extravagance of BC times. The park covers a fairly large area. There are views of the city and the sea. There is a charge for using the car park, which is closed by a barrier. The fee can currently be paid at a ticket machine on the way out. At the entrance to the park there is an airport access system with a security guard. Once you get through you can buy a ticket or show the one you bought online. There is a toilet at the entrance. The park is very warm even in October. There is not much shade. Bring water and a hat! There is no shopping inside, but there is a water tap where you can drink and fill a bottle. You can also bring your dog. If you are passing through, these ruins are well worth a visit.

Absolutely unmissable if you are anywhere near Agrigento. The remains of the temples are exceptional, the views are incredible... this was a tick off the bucket list and I highly recommend a visit. The walk is moderately easy (there is a shuttle for those who need it). One of the best places to visit in the whole of Sicily.
